Martin Hackworth holds a M.S. degree in Physics, is a faculty member in the Dept. of Physics at Idaho State University, and owns 5.11 Jimmy Audio. Martin's experience in professional audio developed from the multiple perspectives of musician, engineer, and scientist. Martin is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, and does frequent consulting work on audio file analysis and restoration. 5.11 Jimmy Audio recently completed post recording soundtrack work on the award winning ICAT video series.

5.11 Jimmy Audio provides sound reinforcement for performance from orchestral to rock with a roster of artists such as the Idaho State Civic Symphony, International Choral Festival, Portland Taiko, Bill Miller, Leo Kottle, Chris Burbeck and Triple Play, Benny Green, Head Pins, Firehouse and Dread Zeppelin.

5.11 Jimmy will be involved with several Olympic venues during the 2001 winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Martin is also an avid climber, skier, and holds a motorcycle road racing license.
