Driven Mechanical Resonance with Two Pasco Dynamics Carts

Mechanical resonance with two coupled oscillators is demonstrated excellantly with Pasco Dynamics Carts, Track, and Variable speed driver, as shown above. Two identical carts are attached to each other, the driver, and a fixed support with identical springs. The driver requires a 0 - 12 V variable DC power source. Be sure to level the track with a spirit level. Both normal modes are clearly illustrated.
