| In this demonstration, a 2x4 with the lids for the
bottles attached is placed on a rotating platform. The
bottles are first filled with water. The bottles are then
attached to the 2x4 by turning the bottle, not the
lid. The bottles and 2x4 are then inverted and placed on
the rotating platform. In the pictures below, the first picture shows the bottles at rest, and the second shows them in motion. As can be seen, the ping-pong balls are tilted toward the center of rotation. |
