Attach one Pasco Force Sensor to a Pasco Dynamics Cart, and a second force sensor to a second cart, as shown at top left, or to a Pasco Force Sensor Bracket, as shown at bottom left. Attach spring-&-cup collision bumpers to the force sensors. Connect the force sensors to the Pasco Laboratory Interface, shown on the middle shelf of the computer cart at far right. Use the Pasco Science Workshop software to collect the data from the force sensors. Make the carts collide on the Pasco Dynamics Track. Vary the speeds and masses of the carts. Show that in all cases, the force on each cart is equal in magnitude. | |
