Motorcycles provide a rich platform to illustrate numerous concepts in dynamics, acoustics and thermodynamics. Resonance, conservation of angular momentum, gyroscopic effects, friction, propagation of acoustic waves, thermodynamic efficiency of engines and a host of other topics in physics will be discussed.
