The Cat Twist and other Twisty Topics

It is well-established that a typical cat can turn over to land on its feet from an inverted position. It does this without a net torque. A mechanical model has been invented which can do this same thing, only in a simpler manner than the method described in most text books. This will be discussed and demonstrated along with other less well understood angular momentum phenomena.
