Advanced Gamma and Electron Dosimetry at the IAC

Two systems for high turn-over gamma and electron dosimetry will be presented. The first is based on radiochromic thin films read with a
standard spectro-photometer at several wavelengths simultaneously. A scattered data interpolation scheme is employed allowing for significant improvement in the system's characteristics. The turn-over time is shortened from 24h to some ten minutes while the dynamic range is expanded couple of orders of magnitude. The second system involves composite PIN diode detectors with exceptional speed and excellent dynamic range without the necessity of a bias voltage.
