Bayesian Electron Spectrum Reconstruction From Dose-Depth

The direct measurement of the energy distribution of intense space-charge
dominated electron beams is a very difficult if not impossible task. I will
discuss an indirect method for reconstructing the elecron energy spectrum
from a measured electron dose-depth profile in an absorber. It is, in general,
an ill-posed inverse problem which can only be solved by inference. A
short review of the Baysian approach will be given and the method will be
applied to the problem at hand.
