Contributed
talks are 10 minutes long with an additional 2 minutes
for discussion.
Plenary talks
are 30 minutes long with an additional 6 minutes for discussion.
They are directed to a broad audience of physicists and
students from a variety of fields.

on invited talks, please refer to the appropriate session
organizer(s).
Audiovisual
- Session venues will be equipped with digital projectors
and IBM-compatible computers loaded with Microsoft PowerPoint.
Presenters should use use portable media such as CD-ROM
or flash drives. Time will be available for pre-loading
presentations on the conference computers before the start
of the session. Note:
Macintosh users who do not wish to convert to IBM-compatible
formats may bring a personal laptop computer for their use
(Macintosh computers will not be provided). Overhead
projectors will be available also for speakers who wish
to use transparencies.

Posters
will be displayed on panels that are 4 feet wide by approximately
5 feet tall. Posters may be attached to the panels with
push pins.
